Overview ––––

Huega House is a contemporary headwear brand rooted in the idea of slowing down and appreciating life’s smaller moments. Inspired by the Danish concept of hygge, the brand blends comfort, nostalgia, and togetherness with a distinct visual identity drawn from 90s sports and automotive culture. Focused on premium craftsmanship and timeless design, Huega House creates pieces that balance vintage influence with modern wearability. More than just hats, it represents a mindset - celebrating simplicity, style, and the everyday moments that define personal expression.

My Role at Huega House I was responsible for designing Huega House’s first activewear collection, translating the brand’s identity into a functional and contemporary product range. My role involved developing the visual direction of the collection, blending the brand’s hygge-inspired philosophy with influences from 90s sportswear and automotive culture. From initial concept through to final execution, I focused on creating pieces that balanced performance, comfort, and style, ensuring the collection felt cohesive within the broader Huega House aesthetic. This process allowed me to extend the brand beyond headwear, establishing a foundation for future apparel while maintaining its core identity.

Deliverables ––––

At Huega House, I delivered a comprehensive design package to support the brand’s expansion into activewear, ensuring a clear and cohesive translation from concept to final product. My work included developing 2D CADs and detailed fit designs to define garment construction and performance, alongside 3D renders that brought the collection to life through realistic visualisation. I also created initial concepts that established the direction of the range, aligning each piece with Huega House’s identity and aesthetic. This end-to-end approach ensured clarity across development stages while maintaining consistency in both design intent and execution.

The range of services I provided included menswear design, 3D modelling, and selected graphic design and branding elements, with a strong focus on bringing the collection to life through digital visualisation. I was involved in key stages of the design process, from developing garment concepts and fit to creating detailed 3D assets that supported both product development and presentation. Alongside this, I contributed to subtle branding and graphic touches that ensured the collection remained aligned with Huega House’s identity. This focused yet integrated approach allowed for a cohesive outcome, balancing design precision with a clear and consistent visual direction.
